An alternative approach to learning
At the Westwood Centre we offer a different approach to learning. Alongside core subjects we offer a vast range of vocational qualifications.
We aim to put together a personalised learning programme for each individual pupil, focusing on the individual pupil's needs. Every pupil will have the opportunity to gain qualifications ranging from Entry Level to Level 2.
Alongside qualifications we can offer individual support to pupils, working on personal development and career aspirations, Our Centre staff aim to improve pupil social skills by tailored targets, goal setting and rewards.
Within the centre we have our own hair salon, motor vehicle workshop, catering kitchen, construction area, outdoor horticulture area and 5 designated teaching rooms.
