Students visited TATE Britain for a second time, to engage in a performing art workshop, with artist and dancer Zinzi. The objective of the workshop was to explore movement and capture traces of it within the gallery. Students were given cameras and whilst touring the gallery, they took photographs of objects and artworks that made them think about movement and provide inspiration for the next task.
Within the second part of the workshop, students were given materials and tools to craft and stage their own performance, as inspired by the artworks seen in the gallery. The student’s interpretation of movement was unique and inspiring. As our performance toured the gallery, onlookers stopped, viewed and took photographs."
