Staff and students dressed up and after the students worked their way through a "Ghoul Work" activity book (creative writing, anagrams, math problems, collecting data and a little bit of creativity at the end), we had a couple of Trick or Treat themed games.  The first was a "Blind Exploring" game, where students had to place their hand into a bag filled with a mystery element - ranging from cold plum tomatoes to severed fingers (cooked hot dogs with straw "bones") and find the bags of sweets inside.   The next game was "Dangling Doughnuts", where students had to eat a doughnut suspended on a line without using their hands.  All students left with a bag of treats and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to engage in work that is a little bit different to the norm.
