Since the start of the school year, we have introduced Lego Therapy on a Friday. The aim is to improve the communication skills for all pupils, as well as understanding teamwork and turn-taking. After 11 weeks, the class have been able to build increasingly more complex models and as an end of term exercise, two of our KS1 pupils (with some staff support in positioning the models) managed to work together to make a short video, whilst our KS2 pupils were able to work together to build and programme a motion sensor robot. Seeing all of the pupils enjoy their achievements has made the journey worthwhile.
